Food Revolution Day.
On Friday, along with the rest of the school, we took part in Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution Day. The children enjoyed making their rainbow salad wraps with a yoghurt dressing. Almost all of the children ate them with relish!
In literacy this week, the children made their own seed packets. Having looked carefully at the information given on real seed packets, they drew illustrations and wrote instructions on how to plant them on the reverse. These will be coming home next week, so get ready to plant your seeds!
We have also been discussing the importance of recycling this week. In our Outdoor Adventure sessions, the children recycled plastic containers and plastic bags to make wind catchers to decorate the tree in our playground. We think they look beautiful!
Thank you to all the parents who came to watch our phase assembly. We were very proud of all our children!
Finally, is it just us or are teachers getting younger these days?
