Welcome to the Spring term!

The children have had a busy first week back at school. For our new topic we are learning about pets and farm animals.

We learned about animals' rights and then made our favourite pets out of paper plates. Here are a selection.......

In Forest School, we had a go at welly wanging. We talked about length and distance, as we saw who through their welly the longest or shortest distance.

There was time for some fun in the woods afterwards.

More maths learning outside, as the children counted to a rhythm, exploring one more and one less than a given number.

Learning letters and sounds together.

We ended our Shelter topic with a very busy week.  Practising for our phase assembly, baking biscuits to sell in aid of SHELTER and building our own shelters in the woods.
