Building week.

This week, the children have been busy building their model ideal homes for the three little pigs to live in.

A lot of thought was given at the planning stage as to which materials should be used (the stronger the better) and various means designed to keep the wolf away.

Come along  and see your child's model after our phase assembly on Friday 17th February.

Thank you to everyone who donated boxes.  Nothing went to waste!

We were very lucky to receive a visit from Mr .Oliver this week.  The children thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills, as Mr. Oliver helped them to build some beautiful wooden vehicles.

Library visit.

The children enjoyed a visit to Hythe Library this week.  We have been reading tradition tales well as learning how to find out information from non-fiction books.

 

 

The children are continuing to enjoy our builders' yard role play.  They have learned a lot about materials and building so far this half term.  Why not ask them what they have found out?
