Welcome to the summer term!

Our new topic is growing.  We read the story of Jack And The Beanstalk, and the children have been busy building their own beanstalks with a variety of media.  The children have also been finding out what a seed needs to grow. Mrs. Perry's class planted some very small seeds and Mrs. Ison's class planted some large ones.  We wondered whether the small seeds will grow into small plants and the large seeds will grow into large plants.  We will soon find out!

 

 

The children have also had fun playing in the mud kitchen.

 



 

And learning how to subtract a given number from 10.
