Non-fiction books at the library.

We went to the library to find out more about farm animals.  We have been learning how to use non-fiction books.  We had great fun at the library, as we had a story, went on a farm animal treasure hunt and sang songs with the librarian.

In Maths this week, we have been continuing to learn about 3D shapes.

Pet visitors!

We had a visit from Poppy, who is a guide dog in training.  We learned all about how guide dogs help people who can't see very well.

Mrs.Vigar brought in her dog, Tim, and answered all our questions about how to look after a dog.

World Book Day!

The children had lots of fun taking part in activities based around some of our favourite stories.

                                        
        

                                                                                                                      

 The children enjoyed sharing their own bedtime stories with their friends.

 We became authors and wrote our own books.

Finally, we made biscuits to enjoy with our final story of the day.
