This week, we have been continuing to learn about money, the value of coins and how to combine coins when shopping.

Congratulations to all the children who completed their creative writing home work.  We sent off our work to the Young Writers competition and the publishers have decided to include all of our children's work in their next publication!  It will be very exciting for the children to see their work in a real book.

The very busy spider.

 We enjoyed reading 'The Very Busy Spider' by Eric Carle.  We re-enacted the story and then wrote about what we would do if we were a spider!  The children's work is displayed in their classrooms.  Pop in and have a look!

Welcome back to school!

Our new topic for our final half term is mini beasts.  The children had great fun learning all about the tiny creatures who live in our grounds and even more fun searching for them.  The children learned how to use scientific equipment to observe the mini beasts, and different ways to identify and classify them.
