This week, the children have learned how to use paints to create a colour wash effect. They then carefully cut out the shapes of animals and trees to create silhouettes. Here are some of our super pictures.
We looked closely at the different fruits Handa carried in her basket.
We thought about how difficult it must be to balance things on your head, like Handa. We practised first with books, and then with a basket of fruit, just like Handa.
Then we tasted all the fruit. There were some that the children hadn't tasted before-like avocado and guava.
