We went on a bear hunt!

When we got back to school, we discovered that Big Ted was missing!  We found a letter from him, saying he had gone to look for us and left a book called The Bear Hunt  in the story corner.  We had forgotten to tell Big Ted that we were on holiday last week.  Poor Big Ted. Using the pictures in the book as clues, we decided to go on our own bear hunt to find Big Ted!

First we had to decide what we needed to take with us.......................

 

We all voted on which items to put in the basket.     Then we got our coats and wellies on.



We're going on a bear hunt!

We walked through the long grass.  Swishy swashy!



Through the water.  Splash!  Splosh!



Through the mud.  Squelch!  Squerch!



Through the forest. Stumble!  Trip! 



Through the snow storm.  Wooo hoooo!



We had to search for a cave.  Tiptoe!  Tiptoe!









We found Big Ted!
