Very exciting visitors!
It's always nice to have visitors here in Foundation Stage. The children enjoy meeting new people and having their questions answered by experts. During science week, Mrs Jones very kindly came in and spoke to the children about her exciting work as a scientist. The children were fascinated to learn about the amount of bugs living on our hands. Whether this will encourage more thorough hand washing remains to be seen!
This week, we were lucky to receive a visit from Seadown vets. One of the veterinary nurses came to see us and told the children all about how to look after their pets and the work that vets do. She brought along a very large fluffy rabbit and a small, spiky hedgehog.
The children's understanding and knowledge of the world is enhanced through meeting new people and hearing about their different jobs or hobbies. We are always very grateful to the people who give up their time to pop in for a visit. If you have a special interest or skill that you would like to share with our children, please let us know. We would love to hear from you!
