WORLD BOOK DAY

 

 

 

 

We celebrated with year 1 / 2, dressed as pirates we took part in all sorts of activities:

• Stories and songs
• Writing pirate diaries
• Maps and co-ordinates
• Pirate training (bailing out lifeboats, walking the plank)
• Baking ships biscuits
• Making pirate hats
• Treasure hunt

 

By the end of the day we all felt like fully qualified pirates and

realised it was a very tiring profession.
